TRUE HOPE MINISTRY INTERNSHIP 2026-2027

The Ministry Internship is designed to help equip individuals vocationally and spiritually through practical hands on experience and leadership investment

A Ministry Intern is a high capacity team member who is coached and accountable to True Hope Staff while being entrusted with meaningful projects, events, and ministry.

 

INTERNSHIP FAQs

  • Yes, if you are someone who has:

    • Professional skills you want to develop, grow, and use to build up the church 

    • Experienced a call to vocational ministry and want to gain hands-on experience and leadership investment

    • Margin to operate as a high capacity team member and commits to the year (September-June, 12-15 hours a week).

  • September 2026 - June 2027 commitment of 12-15 hours per week.

    *Tuesday daytime availability is essential.

    Interns attend a weekly Leadership Enrichment course as well as Staff Meetings and Chapels – all of which take place in-person on Tuesdays during the day at True Hope Church and Offices. 


    Other availability depends on Ministry Department assignments:

    Wednesday – YTH

    Thursday (evening) & Sunday (mornings) – Gatherings

  • No, you don’t have to be 18-25 to be a part of the internship! 

    You can be an established professional or person of any age 18+.

  • Every internship will look different depending on the Ministry Department. All Interns work closely with members of True Hope Staff, are invested in and developed as leaders, and given meaningful ministry projects or assignments.


    Ministry Areas:

    • Music

    • Tech: Sound, Video, Photography

    • Communications: Social Media, Weekly 

    • Discipleship: Adult Ministries, Community Groups, Men’s/Women’s, Alpha, Content

    • YTH

    • KIDS

    • Hospitality

    • Operation

  • No.

    There is no monetary compensation, nor a promise of future employment for participating in the Ministry Internship. The Internship functions as vocational training for those who want to experience hands-on-ministry and develop skills in specific areas. Interns are invested in, equipped, and building references and experience for their future.

  • No. We budget books, resources, and other necessities into the discipleship budget so you do not need to pay a tuition fee at this time.
